Jellybean Play Café was founded by a Mummy of two who knows just how isolating parenthood can sometimes feel, no matter what age your child is.
Living in Wynyard made me realise how few places there are locally for parents and carers with little ones. I found myself – and still do – driving quite a distance just to find a decent play café to entertain my 3 year old son.
Jellybean Play is all about creating a safe, welcoming and comfortable space where Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Carers can all come together. Somewhere grown-ups can enjoy an amazing cup of Coffee and a delicious slice of Cake while their little ones play and explore in our role play area to inspire imagination.
More than anything I want Jellybean to become a little community.
A place where Parents and Carers feel supported and welcome, where little ones are happy and where nobody has to feel quite so alone.

A thoughtfully designed space for our little Jellybeans to explore and create role play and activities that encourage independence and imagination.
As we have such a cosy little space, we’ve made sure to utilise every inch of the play café to create a welcoming, fun and comfortable environment for both little ones and grown-ups.
All play equipment and surfaces are fully sanitised before and after
every play session. Your little ones’ safety and wellbeing are our
top priority. So you can sit back, relax and enjoy your visit
knowing they’re playing in a clean, safe and carefully cared-for
environment.
